Brief statement on Pope Francis,1936 - 2025

 We pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis, and in thanksgiving for his ministry.

He saw the face of Christ particularly in the poor and marginalised, and invited everyone to the joy of an encounter with Jesus.

Building on the work of the Second Vatican Council, he called the whole Church into a synodal journey of listening and discerning, reading the signs of the times with the Holy Spirit so that we might grow as missionary communities. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
