Diocesan Assembly Toolkit - Drop in Session in August
The School for Synodality's Diocesan Assembly Toolkit draws on the Pathways to Implementation, Towards the Assembly, and Recollect documents to offer a practical guide to facilitating the Assembly process. It covers the formation of a Synodal Team, gathering local stories for the Report, the logistics of an Assembly day, engaging the wider community, and how the process can serve diocesan priorities – alongside practical resources at each point to lighten the load for organising teams.
The Toolkit launches on 7th September at a webinar with Sr Nathalie Becquart and Fr Giacomo Costa from the Secretariat of the Synod. Knowing many teams will want to use the summer for planning, we're releasing it in draft form on 5th August, with an informal drop-in webinar on 12th August for anyone who wants to talk through the content.
SfS Assembly Toolkit will be released in draft: 5th August 2026
